A little bit more about Matt Walker 

Outside of counseling, I’m a husband and dad of four. My beautiful Brazilian wife and I have been married for 10 years. Together, we homeschool our children and co-own a Christian clothing business, Shake & Shine Shop.
 

Faith is woven into our everyday family life. Each morning, I sit down with my children for Bible reading and gratitude journals. I also try to use biblical principles to teach, guide, correct, and encourage them as they grow.

I believe childhood should have plenty of joy too. Around our house, that means movies, games, puzzles, puppet shows, lots of laughter, and simply enjoying time together.
 

Being a dad and educator has shaped the way I connect with young people. Children need truth and guidance, but they also need patience, creativity, humor, and a safe place to be themselves.
